MAGNUM P.I.G.
Very reminiscent of a pie made by a Mr Kippling, smells good and looks like a nice deep mince pie.
The pastry has a slightly powdery texture which although not unpleasant does not enhance it, the pastry though is just bland. The filling looks good and again smells the part with the first bite having a nice cinnamon flavour, after that initial bite though it just becomes boring, slightly too sweet for my liking and there is no distinguishable difference in texture between bites so the filling is over processed.
RASHER
Look;
It looks as per the normal factory produced pie, but with a bulging top lid and very little in the way of a sugar dusting.
The pie is roughly about have filled with a mono coloured mince.
Feel;
The pastry is firm and non-crumbly, which is good for Magnum as he does like to make a mess.
Fragrance;
Not much of an aroma to this pie. Pretty much a bland mince pie standard fragrance.
Taste;
The pastry is quite plain, and the mince is not a lot better I am sorry to say. However there is a slight tang of nutmeg in there.

VERDICT
MAGNUM P.I.G.
It is what it is, a factory produces mince pie.
RASHER
These are cheap and the pastry is fairly dry.
Not inspiring.
