There is a home-made vibe with the look, and has a slight dusting of sugar.
Thin with a good colouring.
It has a firm and hard biscuit texture, almost rustic.
Very nice aroma of biscuit, sugar with a slight cinnamon undertone.
There is a nice biscuit flavour with a slight sweetness and a subtle cinnamon caress.
With no sugar on the top is has a very rustic feel and look with an uneven browning bordering is it slightly over baked.
Crisp texture which breaks cleanly without crumbling, lovely tasting biscuit without being overly sweet and over spiced although some of the currents are hard from being over cooked.
Although the taste was very nice, it did have a burnt after taste. Though I think this is the nature of the biscuit, thirdly. I think that the biscuits thickness could have been a bit thicker, though I think this is down to personally preference. Lastly it was very rustic and almost fell apart when you bite into it.
It is not overdosed by fruit, but that may be a downfall in some people’s eyes. For my tastes it has a nice balance, with a lovely brittle crunch as you take a bite.
A crisp clean tasting Easter biscuit which has been slightly over-baked.
