Wonderful smell almost as though the bag has been perfumed, the cross on the top is actually edible and the dough has a pleasing sweet taste, slightly sticky to the touch, a little more would have been good but the filling is underwhelming though, needs more fruit including some orange please.
The addition of pumpkins seeds is wonderful, if only it had more fruit it’s good but is let down by the filling.

Look;
It looks like a Hot Cross Bun should look.
Promising
Feel;
Slightly sticky, and feels thick as you gently squeeze.
Fragrance;
There is a rich aroma of fruit, with a sweetened berry undertones.
Taste;
A fruit filled first bite. A very fruity flavour to the mouth as you chew.
There is a slight nutty residue, which comes from the Pumpkin seeds.

Verdict;
MAGNUM P.I.G.
Potentially a little cracker let down by a lack of filling, enjoyable but could have been so much more.
PORK SCRATCHING
Despite stating that the flavour is Orange and Cranberry, you cannot taste the orange as it is overpowered by the taste of the sweet cranberries. The bun itself is slightly sweetened though this does not distract from the hot cross buns fruity flavour… Not to mention the addition of some pumpkin seeds, which give and added bit of texture. Which you wouldn’t commonly find in a hot cross bun.

Not bad as a bread on its own, and it is a good alternative fruit filled Hot Cross Bun. It is a shame that it is more flavoured than filling. Where is the Orange?
Great attempt, and probably a good toasted bun.
Yes I would recommend this one.
